Excellent, very Jura style chardonnay. While it is predominantly chablis in style upon opening with chalk, lemon and apple upon opening, drinking it now on day three it has evolved further on a oxidative tangent that could be felt already on day one. I have no hesitation towards cellaring this for a few more years and then opening with a cheese platter.

Intenso aroma a caramelo, compota, con toques acetónicos. En boca presenta caramelo tostado, amargo, largo, intenso, llena la boca.

Fresh with lots of citric aromas. Initially some unclean, funky aromas which disappearred with air. High acidity which doesn’t feel fully integrated. More generic ’natural’ and with less Jura charachter than I expect from this producer. Probably the least inspiring bottle from Buronfosse up to date. Still decent.
