Sadly, drank the last bottle on Rosh Hashana. Just an excellent balanced Wine` that goes great with brisket. I will look to buy other vintages.

This wine continues to evolve, improving even more over the last six months. Now has a definite spice note I associate with the Mediterranean. Enjoyed again with brisket. Lots of dark fruit.

Recanati annual dinner for future-wine purchasers (Herbert Samuel restaurant) : dark red ruby wonderful nose of dark red-fruits with chocolate notes still closed, very tannic, rich dark red fruits flavours, chocolate, earth, well balanced and structured, tannic finish.
