Goid tannins and acidity can age longer, complex dark fruit cranberry, black cherry, leather, & tobacco.

Nice nose with cherries, rose hip, floral tones Cherries, licorice, rose hip, roses, chocolate, high acidity and the tannins are still present on the palate. Could have been kept for at least a couple of years. Has developed nicely the last two years.

IWS Piedmont tasting (My place, Kent Street) : From Coravin. Herbs, crushed rocks, a little savoury, meaty quality as well as fresh wild berries, tending to raspberry and strawberry, with time an almost gooseberry note. Medium plus acidity, wild sour berries, leathery, chalky tannins, very front to back of mouth. Rocky minerality. Lovely.

Cherries, strawberries, red currant, orange zest. Medium acidity, medium+ tannins. Elegant but not very complex. Fresh.

I love the aroma of this wine. Dried flowers, red fruit and herbs, very typical nebbiolo. I am not as convinced by the taste - a little to dry and short, doesn't quite live up to the nose. But very promising, will keep the remaining bottles for a while.

Rather tart cherry and light weight finish. An angular wine of mainly Nebbiolo but some Croatina and Vespolina too. Probably needs a year or two to develop. Nice style but not overly compelling.

A touch of savory spice to it. A touch tough on the palate. And chewy. Tasty though. Little more structure notes Les.

Cherries, roses, red currant, orange peel. Medium acidity, medium (+) tannins. Not overly complex but good length and Nebbiolo characteristics noticable although a bit darker than most 100% Nebbiolos. Apparently a blend is with Croatina, Vespolina.
