I believe this wine is at its prime now.

The nose is infused with black currants, plums, eucalyptus, and hints of vanilla and spice. The palate is supple, soft, and accessible, with flavors that are a tinge shriveled, but in a good way. Good length. Tasty finish.

Dark and extracted, aromas of herbs and black fruit. Shows cool-climate character with cassis and herbs leading the charge on the palate, rather silky tannins and a medium finish. Open with plenty of air, and decant if possible for about an hour.

Saturated, very dark red violet color; intriguing, lifted, menthol, ripe currant, raspberry puree nose; medium bodied, tart raspberry puree, ripe currant, black cherry palate with refined tannins; nearly ready and should go 3-4 years; medium-plus finish (14.5% alcohol) 87+ points

Some Blind Cabs : Vibrant purple color. Rich, smooth, gushing dark plum and currant fruit on the nose, backed up by sweet violets, cola, hints of pipe tobacco and loamy soil. Full-bodied but plush tannins and a silky mouthfeel, balanced well by the moderate acid. Tart yet rich currant and dark plum fruit, along with dusty soil, tobacco, cedar, cola and root beer notes.
