This bottle was quite different and much better than the previous one. This one had some pronounced soil and dark berry components. Drank a glass or two and then came back to it an hour later - it had developed a fantastic nose and was much deeper and with more complexity on the palate.

Medium red color. PNP, drank 2 glasses over an hour. Ordered this off a restaurant list. Certainly a good value. Red fruits, modest dried earth, cherry with a little cranberry to the fruit, cinnamon, medium bodied, fine tannins. Not overly complex, but good typicity and a nice style.

Monthly Tasting at Wine Wizards (Wine Wizards Stockton) : Really liked this and compared to the overpriced Bourgogne I tasted recently this is far superior, unfortunately similar pricing at $30, but you get what you pay for. Lovely nose, expressive and distinct, lighter texture but an excellent linger.
