Ripe aroma of cherries, subtle coffee and cocoa and a subtle hint of smoke, really subtle. Lush, ripe tannins that barely stain your teeth. Finish is typical cab dominated flavors - red berries, cocoa and cassis.

This vintage of Harrison Hill will either be praised for its elegance and nuance or it will be thought of as a failed vintage. This is tough to write as this wine certainly is one of the most consistently outstanding wines produced in Washington state. This time I am tasting through an entire bottle over two days. Color is pale garnet and as mentioned in an earlier note the resemblance to Pinot Noir is undeniable. Even in fragrance. Tart cherry/strawberry …

Tasted at the tasting room in Woodinville along with the other new 2021 releases. I'm certainly no expert, and definitely no Harrison Hill authority but I don't believe I have ever seen a Cabernet based wine from Delille that was this light in color, if tasted blind, one might guess pinot. Not judging as I would like to taste through an entire bottle to see if this has the staying power of the usual Harrison Hill. Elegant on the palate …

Excellent. Of course, HH always is, but this one's really having a moment right now. Cabbish, lots of graphite and spice, leave's nothing on the table but nothing's overdone. Pure class.

When it’s this good, how does one determine pointage? Judgement of Paris winner quality. I know, I was there.

Oh my, drinking really well right now. So polished and nuanced. As you’d expect from a cab-heavy blend, lots of floral notes on the nose and some baking spices. Mostly ruby but some garnet on the rim. Great ripe fruit and fully integrated tannins. Finish is very elegant.

This wine is in a sweet spot. Tannins fully integrated, beautiful texture, super long finish. Well done.

65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot. Drank great over a 2-hour period. Excellent balance, old-vine velvetness, and a feminine touch (especially on the nose). Wonderful pairing with a 1967 Beau Séjour veal chops recipe. 13.5% ABV. 92-93

Thoroughly enjoyed, truly a reminiscent of a Chateau Margaux. Ripeness of the fruits, berries, strawberries with balanced earthy finish. Paired perfectly with grilled Spanish meats. Will certainly buy more

Orangey-red in glass Sweet red fruit on nose with hints of cedar Soft, spicy around edge of tongue, silky herbs and a slight touch of meat on end. Very long Expensive - price appears to be increasing steadily
