Better on day 2 and not too cold as noted below. I'm not entirely sold on Carricante, which is once again found in a well crafted, versatile wine that I found intriguing, if subtle, but not compelling. Sea-breezy lemons, minerals, straw, unripe melon.

From magnum. Not unduly complex, but refreshing and crisp on the palate. I think we went through a case of 750's plus this magnum, and I will definitely be on the lookout for the new vintage.

This was pretty good. Ann and I both liked it. Cold, it had sort of a polished, slightly waxy feel. Once it warmed up a little, I thought it was better, with more freshness from the acidity that became more apparent.

From a bottle opened last night, and my first time trying a Carricante from Gulfi. Light-bodied, with good acidity and persistence, and a nice lemony note on the nose. Tasty.
