The QPR is insane on this one. Montebello vineyard cab for sub $50?? yes please. Gorgeous Cab that would benefit from more aging. Still very young but still approachable. Picchetti punches above it's weight class

Great with an hour or two of decanting. Acidity softened nicely; people pleaser. Perfect with a ribeye as suggested.

Definitely hitting its stride with a bouquet that shows the best of Santa Cruz Mtn. Cabs. Silky smooth right now and balanced fruit. Enjoyed this with a great dry aged New York Strip for Christmas Eve dinner with the family.
2004 vintage
