Nothing has changed, a delightful and special wine. Per the label, 80% pinot meunier, I have to imagine that such a blend grown in Champagne is one of the finest expressions available of this grape.

Very much as the previous bottle, a beguiling marriage of feather-light texture and intense red vinous flavors. Enjoyed with short ribs and buttered pasta.

Clear to bright purple ruby. Modest nose of fresh flowers, bramble, black fruit. The palate is amazing fresh dark berries and stone fruit, and clean dirt, shot through with intense candied tartness. The finish is clean and medium-long, like the palate but without the fruity "sweet" flavors. Unusual blend of 80% pinot meunier/20% pinot noir.

Impromptu Year End Dinner (L'Apicio) : OK, not a bubbly, but from the Holy Land of Bubbles. And WOW was this awesome. Gorgeously bright crisp, tart red fruits with a backbone of intense minerality and acidity, leading to a long mouthwatering finish. I'd drink these any day, but most folks would probably need food to enjoy this.
