Such a unique story with this wine. The wine stains the glass which is noticeable after the first pour. Sweet kirsch liquor, marzipan, an extreme nutty flavor throughout. Paired really well with banana foster.

Patio dinner with F&F, Harry and Anne...great group of friends and solid lineup! (Chez Walker - Princeton, NJ) : This one brought by Francesco to the party, my first experience with this wine. CHilled this up and had it with a chocolate mousse. Rich chestnut color. Nose shows dried fruit, figs, honey, candied nuts. Sticky and viscous palate shows dried apricots, caramel, candied pineapple, marzipan. Lingers through the mid palate... Interesting and unique dessert wine. Not everyone drank it, but …
