Nice flavours. Still some tannins left. excellent with red meat

3 hour decant. Massive punt on a hugely heavy bottle. Deep purple - grape and blackcurrant in the nose - bit hit in the mouth - deep, full, dark, broody - nice edge to it - decent enough finish and really rather moorish - nice wine, especially at this price.

This wine went well with steaks and scalloped potatoes. Polished, but not complex, this wine had strong fruit with a hint of floral and spice, and then vanilla oak on the finish. I would say that it drank at its price, but nothing about it stood out as interesting or attention grabbing. I think this wine could have used more time in the cellar.

Touriga nacional, aragonez, trincadeira. Nose - intense violet floral aromas, minerality, red fruit, blueberries too. Integrated oak. Vegetal hints. Palate - lighter body, higher acidity. Red fruit and oak, toast. Very fine tannins. Nice persistence. Very good
