Light red, pale edge. Strong fennel and pepper-quite odd for a riper year. Medium weight, thin layer of sap. Cooler, green, tart profile. Entry is better than the short, dry, earthy, tannic finish. Just too lean and dry to enjoy. Poorly balanced.
