Ripe strawberries, toffee, leather and floral note in a developed nose Fresh acidity, ripe strawberries, licorice, a touch of menthe and a touch of wood in the finish Much better than expected 🍷🍷🍷 Bought on-site in 2015 so kept very well in my cellar.

Tar, graphite and TANNINS. This is very ripe, 2012 was a warm summer, but this doesn't taste like Cabernet Franc at all, not one bit. Disappointed in this effort from Dr Konstantin.

Took some time to open up. Initially a powerfully alcoholic bouquet, dry and tannic, but eventually revealed a more leathery, still-tannic, rocky palate. Best to leave decanted for an hour and skip the unpleasantness.

Good color. The nose is classic, showing aromas of raspberry, dark cherry, earth, pepper and herbs. This is medium bodied on the palate with good concentration and adequate class. The medium length finish shows slightly rustic tannins and good acidity.
