Domaine de la Taille aux Loups Vouvray Sec Les Caburoches

A full force Vouvray. Great nose and a fantastic body. Dry fruits, pear and tart apple, with lingering mineral notes thru the long finish. Great wine.

Pale yellow green. Lovely nose of tart pear and apple with a whiff of honey, wool, and chamomile. Medium body, with a pleasant, taut finish. I'll be on the lookout for more from this producer.

Uncle Rob's Visit : One of the best vouvrays I’ve had – crisp and mineral-driven but with good fruit character to round it out and make it universally appealing. Lots of things going on – chamonille, ginger, citrus pith and accents of baking spices.
