Pale in color, low viscosity and slight less clarity then most pinots. Aromas of cherry, clove, vallilla and strawberry almost like strawberry cake. Taste of high alcohol with an immediate slight burn. Moderate acidity, slightly higher tannins for a typical Pinot. Not many layers but a longer finish which is nice. On the dryer side but still some sweetness. Overall there is way to much alcohol for me. 14.9 ABV is too high for a pinot even for a California …
