Chateau Potelle Syrah

Aromatic Potelle Syrah that literally fills the room with plumes of cherrywood and pipe tobacco during decanting. After two hours plus, tobacco remained the predominant thrust of this wine, followed by dried herbs and date with anise dancing in the background. A flash of black plum reveals itself at midpalate heading towards a drying finish that dwells on cedar and cigar box.
