The Bruery Papier (100% Aged in Brandy Barrels)

Opened to celebrate my first wedding anniversary! Much like the 100% bourbon barrel-aged Papier I opened almost a year ago, the 100% brandy rendition is very barrel forward, with tons of brandy on the palate, burying but not overwhelming the base ale. After over 9 years, the carbonation is a touch low, but there's no sign of oxidation and, by all accounts, this has held up tremendously and, like my wife, has been well worth the wait!
