On nose: notes of licquorice, blackberries and dried herbs. On palate: all above flavour notes present, with tart plum skin, a ghost of dark chocolate, and cigar tobacco....all displayed, at 5 years of age on a fullish body, with nicely resolving tannins and a ghost of oak gall on the finish. Good wine for beefsteak or lamb.
