A delicious bottle, right at its peak. The tannins have melted away, but there's some freshness and earthy complexity supporting the fading cherry fruit.

I gave it one hour of air Prior to evaluating it Like on a color; we have a fruit nose. She has lots of bread fruit some delicious Siri most coming out strong in the back end. Largely consistent with prior notes.

Quite light bodied but still bright and vibrant color. The nose is full of gently decaying red cherry fruits, and just in that perfect place of maturity. A surface of very fine tannin still lingers over the fruit, the finish lingers beautifully, still years ahead but so good tonight

Nice light ruby colour with open nose strawberries dominate, medium body with nice acidity, tannins still present, red berries dominate. Lovely wine drinking well, should continue to develop for the next 10 years.

Pop and pour, part of it decanted. Drunk over several hours A ripe but not too ripe nose. dark and red cherry, tilled earth, some meaty savory notes and hints of savory spice. Mid plus weighted, sapid with dense and alittl burly yet with good balance. It's a good mix of savory as fruit driven with some well integrated wood. Not the end all in nuance. but giving, well balanced, and pleasurable. Youthful drinking now. I suspect this has the …

Started out good and over time, got better. At two hours, it was a very nice wine. Plenty of nice tart strawberry with more acid than tannin so should continue to evolve for another few years. Nicely blended oak and terroir. Not much yet in secondary flavors but guessing they will start to show soon as this evolves. Nice 60 sec mouth watering finish.

Showing really well now, plenty of fruit that’s starting to develop, medium to light body, resolved and fresh tasting, ready but with time ahead

I drank two bottles: one opened in a restaurant without decanting and one opened at home with 1+ hour of decanting. With proper time, I found it smooth and fun to drink. It is easy to pair since it is light without feeling too simple. I really enjoyed it.

On the first night, the nose seemed a bit reserved. The color and nose would almost suggest a much younger wine. Notes of red cherry, with some oak present. Acidity and tannins are still going strong. After two days of being open, the tart red fruits turned into more of a stewed fruit note. The spice and other tertiary notes were more present. Overall, I can’t tell if this needs more time or is as good as it will get. …

opened 30-45 minutes not decanted; Med ruby red;very little sediment; Nice balanced red fruit/berry cherry nose; tannin & fruit well balanced; soft mostly red berry/cherry flavor, mod long finish; very food friendly wine, probably on a slow decline now but at least 8-10 more yrs to be fun to drink

Birthday lunch at Manoir (Manoir aux Quatre Saisons, Oxfordshire) : I took a sip of this by coravin to check in and it seemed to be sweet and easy to drink. Next day, we opened the magnum and it was tight and tannic and moved only very slowly away from that during the afternoon. Earthy and long, this is a grand wine, but on this evidence, (and in magnum) it is still not ready. Try again in a couple of …

Modestly improved from my 2018 note, yet remaining an indistinct Beaune red of good composition. Recommend 2 hour decant, if you're curious, but I'll wait another 4-5 years to see if this becomes more interesting.

Poured from a 1.5L magnum. Still very fresh and fruit forward which is indicative of the vintage. Not as much Burgundian character as I would have hoped, but it did lay just underneath the bright red cherry and strawberry Pinot fruit. A nice wine to open up during a family Thanksgiving gathering.

Mature, undergrowth nose. Light to medium bodied. The joy of this wine remains the silliness of the tannins. Seemingly ready but likely to hold 5 years as bottles over the past few years have left a similar impression.

From magnum; another 2009 that is drinking really well- I was worried about many of them but they seem to be changing my mind regularly; still a deep color with saturated red and dark fruit behind, oak still in the foreground was the only distraction but plenty of pleasure to be found here, generous and a weight that is quite rich in comparison to the ‘14 Meix Foulot Mercurey but both were terrific.

Absolutely stellar. Mature now with nuanced and complex flavors. Tons of red fruit. Really good right now. Should hold for a while, can’t see this getting any better.

Some Wine Tasted Watching the Chicago Air & Water Show (Lake Shore Drive - Chicago IL) : Small taste from magnum. Red berry and cherry with faint meat, spice, and earth. Overall good balance, good enough weight. Not as ripe as I expected from the vintage, vs how most 1er Crus are showing at present. I don't think I have tasted this in many years and like where it is performing right now.

Popped and poured. This drank more like a new world pinot in its youth but it is evolving. Red cherry, herbs and spice. Medium to full bodied, ripe but balanced and showing create depth. Drinking well today but will have a long life ahead.

After a four hour decant, the red fruit emerged to the forefront. Underbrush, mineral notes and peat moss accompany the somewhat muted red fruit to deliver a classic burgundy. Many years of great drinking in its future. Great juice.

Drank over two days vacuuming in bottle. Day 1, best in decanted 1.5 hours to give a good nose, pale brownish red color, light, with tertiary notes, tobacco noses after 2 hours. Day 2, poured from vacuum bottle, better nose of minerals, better mouth feel. Good to drink up now.

in a great place. glass on opening was tight and tart and didn't give up much; stoppered under a Repour and after 2 hours of warming and air the next day was fantastic. air it out!

Excellent. This keeps adding weight with each year. Decanted about 45 minutes. The last glass was the best. Elegant is the best word I can use to describe this. Similar to my last notes...only this glass was better

Wow. this caught me by surprise. bright red crunchy fruit, good acid, barely perceptible tannins. Long finish, good acid. This was super delicious and very, very enjoyable. Who knew this simplish cuvee could have been so great?

Solid Burgundy, but somewhat disappointing considering its 1er Cru status and vintage. Crispy red fruits with good minerality and nice finish. Lacks depth and complexity, but still a good effort.

Still a bit disappointed with this wine compared to other 1st Cru from Jadot. Lacking both depth of fruit and secondary flavours. Maybe it's in a slumber phase. Will keep to see if it develops further.
