Still alive and perfect for a Santa Barbara Pinot. Bright fruit, cherries and strawberry, soft finish.

Very Burgundian, no oak or vanilla present after 1+ hours of decanting just lush cherries and very smooth finish.

Tasting in Santa Maria with Nik and Jodie : -- tasted a single glass, non-blind at Tasting Room – Garnet color of medium depth. Nice red-fruited nose. Light red fruit and spice flavors on the palate.

Fragrant nose of black cherry, lavender, with a dusty, flinty underpinning. This is lush and forward, with ripe black pinot fruit, black licorice on the finish, and enough acidity to provide structure that is adequate, but nothing more, to carry the fullness of the flavors. The lack of persistence prevents this from having the impact that is promised by the tasty, dark, and fleshy pinot fruit. Still, this is lovely for its fruit, and its aromatic complexity. Drink up before …

Is it me does this wine continue to get better after each sit down. Pop and poured through hand held aerator device (w/holding the brand name so not to sound too commercial) for each glass. Nice spice and dark fruit jamminess (not over jammy though) on the nose and palate. Touch of fruitiness usually associated w/ warmer climate pinot noirs. It's the third btl of the Addamo PN that I've had over the past month and each time, the smoothness …

Pop and poured. dark cherry colored pinot. spice and dark berries on the nose. med to big body with initial red cherry and spice followed by darker berries. Nice balance of oak and tannin - - with alcohol or over-ripeness just peeking a little through. In summary, great nose w/ some nice complexity and good fruit. I would definitely buy this btl again and given the price, wouldn't hesitate to drink on any occasion. Good job.

Ripping good for the price. Lots forest floor and manure on the nose. This pinot exhibits beautiful color and the nose reveals layers of red and black fruit under the earth. Delicious, full bodied attack of sour cherry with elements of cranberry and pomegranate. The finish is long, with soft, well placed tannins and lots of vanilla. Great to see a Pinot of this quality for less than forty dollars.

Rich, medium plus bodied, new world style pinot. Very strong black cherry note, that is followed by layers of cinnamon spice, forrest floor and a hint of new oak. Picks up nice component on minerality on the finish. Drink now-2011. 88 pts.
