Hiedler Weissburgunder trocken Langenlois

Exotic fruit, honeydew, flint, and light oak spice, with medium-level acidity, a lightly creamy texture, and good length. Close to five years since I first tried this wine, and it now seems to be in a muted, awkward phase. Not sure where this is going. Will hold for a year or two and see… (NR)

Wine tasting at Post Family Resort in Unken/Austria, Wine 2: The wine was light yellow/gold in colour and offered apple, melon and mango aromas on the nose, joined by a hint of lychee. On the palate, the wine was very balanced, with medium to medium-minus acidity, and had a great, creamy mouthfeel and good length. My wife and I both liked it a lot.
