Crescere Chardonnay

In the glass: Straw-colored. Bright, crisp and clear. No cloudiness. Nose: Lots of apple and pear on a earthy, wood base. I detected a touch of butter; the Mrs. picked up on some rosemary. Taste: Very even from start to finish. A little bit of citrus zest (acidity) mid-palate which smoothed out toward the end. Pleasantly surprised. I tried this on friend's recommendation as I had not heard of Crescere before. If there is a downside, it is the QPR. …
