Fesq Trade Tasting (Custom House, Circular Quay, Sydney) : On the nose the wine is a bit funky with herbaceous and slight burnt/stalky notes. Struck match over green and black peppercorn. The funkiness translates to the palate, very peppery as well then big tannic hit, chewy as all get out fruit tries valiantly under all this but fails to get above a distant background drone...Hmm
