The Cabernet sits in harmony with the Shiraz. A beautiful blend. Alcohol is high (as expected from Heathcote) at 14% but no worries with alcohol burn here. Smooth finish. Strong notes of blueberry and Blackberry. Decanted 1hr prior to drinking. This did help it open up. One of the more enjoyable cab/Shiraz blends I've had this year. Probably another 8 years cellaring but drinking wonderfully now. I won't hesitate to open the rest now.
