On the simple side but definitely not boring. Loaded with bright soft fruit and floral notes. Minimal tannins and a real crowd pleaser.

A private lunch (Restaurant De Burgemeester *, Linschoten, Netherlands) : Spicy (rather than peppery), succulent and sweet, juicy, soft but fresh, floral, supple, rounded, hint of white almond, good length.

This grape is apparently outside of the DOC regulations. Its related of Aglianico so as you smell the wine I apparently will get something that is almost sweet and dessert like. But in fact is dry. So let's give it a try. And I like the smell. Kinda a candy flower thing. And then the palate has nice soft fruit. Normally, I am being told that its more or even more flowery. And then a harder edged back end.
