Twist and pour. Drunk together with 2016, which was lesser of the two although developed more over time open. 2016 slightly more pale. 2016 Rich, oily nose. 2017 not much nose. 2016 somewhat flabby, little acid. Faint pineapple. 2017 has more acid, lemonade. 2016 Day three: put together. Soft but no longer flabby. Enjoyable more balanced. 2017 Day three: also more balanced, much of the lemon edge worn smooth but still present.

Wow, has it really been over 5 years since my last btl? Pandemic time I guess. Lovely. On the nose: lemon, peach, sweet apple and a touch of kerosene. On the palate: fantastic acidity, sweet apple, soft nectarine and bitter herbs. Good zip and density on the finish. Excellent.

Unscrew and pour. Final btl. Notes from 3 days open. On the nose: meyer lemon, grapefruit, intense slightly underripe guava. On the palate: excellent acidity, good density, wet stone, a prickle like nettle, more guava and grapefruit. Excellent.

Boy, do I love this label; I’ve enjoyed five vintages of this offering dating back to 2011, and it’s always excellent. Displays a bright pale lemon color with specs of green hue. Petrol, lime and white rock notes are pronounced during the youthful phase and dominate currently; eventually, it develops lots of nuance. Fresh, almost bracing acidity provides balance and supports a superior, persistent finish. Versatile food wine, which works with anything from appetizers to shellfish to whitefish. Drink through …

Needs much more time. Perhaps five years. The petrol is well pronouncing in this, even with soft and aggressive decanting

Unscrew and pour yesterday. Notes from day 2 open. So good. A hint of RS, lemon, peach, melon. On the palate: fantastic acidity, good density, and very soft sweetness on the finish. Excellent.

Terrific! In a wonderful place now but this seems likely to hold for several more years.

German Riesling from Mosel. 11 % alcohol. Distinct amber color. Aromas of red apples, apple cider. Hints of noble rot and candy. Flavors of fresh red apple, apple cider, apple juice. Some minerality. Dry. Full body. Low acidity. Some tannins. Not that balanced. Basic structure. Not much complexity. Medium finish with acidity and fruit. Tastes very similar to a dry Normandy apple cider, without the bubbles. I read other notes where toilet water etc was mentioned, I don’t notice anything …

Love this - stinging acidity and agreeably ripe fruitiness.

$13, hard to go wrong. Very sharp, expressive, lime, wet rocks, green apple. Fantastic value.

Zippy acidity initially, but it started falling apart less than one hour in, becoming cloying and hard to sip on. 12% ABV. 87-88

Classic orange aromas. More skin contact than orange Riesling though. Fairly acidic and not that much body. Had hoped for more, especially for price.

Lovely again. Tropical fruit, and good savory herbs. Fantastic refreshing acid. Lovely clean finish. I only bought 4 of these? Sigh.

A bit "muddy", orange in color Toans of tea, some grape, also some smell of wc The acidity is there, and it's quite intense but I lack some body

Solid if not spectacular, punches at its weight with crisp lemon and grey notes. Notable is the absence of any petrol notes, perhaps age might reveal because a recent tasting of Sybille’s ‘13 Spatlese trocken was rife with gasoline.

Okhuysen Haarlem-Proeven tussen de Stellingen: Friendly and pure bouquet, the acidity is still a bit hard and needs time to soften; the wine is still closed.

Glad I popped one of these. Unscrew and pour, but drinking very well upon opening. A little less refined than the Spat, but nice nose with a hint of effervescence, wintergreen, pineapple, and pink grapefruit. On the palate, goos acidity, but a touch soft on the palate. Very good (and a big hit with dinner).

Beautiful nose, with petrol, waxy apple and citrus with some honeysuckle. Still extremely young, but very drinkable. Racy acidity, and just pure tangerine zippiness. So yummy.

Aperol-orange. Expressive nose. Generous acids, otherwise run of the mill skin macerated wine. Not bad but winemaking hides grape variety and terroir.
