This is a white Sangiovese with an exuberant nose of lilacs and white flowers accompanied by brisk acidity. The latter was somewhat overwhelming initially and made the wine taste sour. However, with aeration and accompanying the wine with rich seafood, this evolved into a much more pleasant wine for appetizers.
