In Maui w homemade poke bowls... This is a much more oxidized and richer (Krugesque) style than the other stapled up Moutard wines I have had in this series. It is not a style I dislike but I was wanting something fresher and crisper at the moment. I think there may be some bottle variation here and will be curious to see if the other bottle of Les Troncs is similar.

A bit of an oxidized mess without earthy notes I prefer in my Pinot based champs. Behind the oxidation lies baked apples and lemon notes. Meh.

Hoat und Zoat - krachende Mineralität trifft auf fein parfümierte Frucht-Schwebung. Wie alle Moutard lieu-dits ist auch der Les Troncs zero dosage, feinnervig und komplex mit einer herrlichen Frische.

Lots of peach, but not much else

I like it but its kind of ciderery. Honey colored, not much mousse, and the steel cork clamp sucks to remove. But it is interesting...

Tasted very beer-y, like a sour. Maybe bretty like the Riceys, but a different strain of brett.
