Aromas of cherries, violets, roses, tangerine peal, Darjeeling tea and tar (like when new Tarmac is being laid. Mouth puckering tannin (like eating veryripe sloe berries), maraschino cherries soaked in tea, stewed damsons and bullaces, cranberries, liquorice, ripe bruised apples (new one for me in a red wine), hint of very ripe strawberries. Still too young, probably needs at least another 4 or 5 years to calm down - and a good chunk of rare steak!
