Zinfandel Reimagined (K&L Culver City) : Smells of child watermelon shampoo, raspberries, and grapefruit, Dirty on the palate with medium acidity and medium- body. Lemon and white flowers. Medium+ finish. 8-/18. Good rosé.

Zinfandel Reimagined (K&L Wine Merchant - San Francisco) : Nose: gentle sweetness with some spiced earth and tree bark (thank goodness). A bit of dried stone too. Palate: river water, bitter stones and watered down fruit, with cut up grass. Probably not similar to the white zin I always hear about as this is pretty dry. Probably would've enjoyed the white zin people always tell me about more.

pale salmon colour. notable reduction gives way to moderate intensity aromas and flavours of tart watermelon, unripe strawberry and fresh red cherry with some notes of spice, organic compost and stones. bone-dry, with medium body, moderate acidity and moderate complexity. after the medium-length finish, an extract aftertaste makes one wonder if one missed more flavours in the palate… 13.4% AbV; from a Zinfandel-dominated field blend in Anderson Valley; gentle press and cold fermentation and maturation in stainless.
