Demeter Zoltán : Rich and full. Really reminiscent of a Chenin Blanc, sweet and sour with a tiny bit of tartiness on the finish. Dense sweetness of small yellow plum and honey. Excellent.

Demeter Zoltán annual wine release 2013 (Budapest, Kempinsky Hotel Corvinus) : Hárslevelű, 969 liters made, ABV 14.5%, RS 5.4 g/l, TA 5.5 g/l, dry extract 21.4 g/l. Alcohol decreased a bit from the 2011 and 2009 level (15), but still too much. In fact the wine seems just like those, varietal, aromatic nose with good freshness, a battonage-like note adds complexity. Generous, rich, grapey taste, some sweetness. A bit on the hedonistic side, but has freshness and personality. Pure, even.
