First time drinking this wine. They sold it to me as a Paul Hobbs wine, although he is the consulting winemaker. Dark purple in color with a beautiful nose of blueberry, cherry, and perfume. Dark fruit - Black Cherry with subtle earthy notes . Soft tannins with good balance of acidity and fruit. Soft mouthfeel with notes of cherry, cassis and a hint of leather. A well balanced gem of a wine from the Dunphys with help from Paul Hobbs. Long velvety finish with solid fruit. Was the perfect partner for a Rib-Eye.

Nose: Green brambles, red fruits (like some cranberries and raspberries), oak and some heat Palate: Matches the nose completely with the integration of some earth with the red fruits and slightly bitter tannins. Dark inky purple in color. On the nose a mix of blueberries and plumb. On the palate a huge extracted wine with dark fruits and cassis - velvety. Smooth and long finish. You can tell Paul Hobbs consulted on this project. Very nice
