Even so young and 30 min after opening, delicious red fruits and tabac over fine tannins and well balanced acidity. I bought more.

Brunello 2019 (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street) : Almost a little menthol note, fresh herbs, savoury meaty underpin, a little dried flower, smidge of oxidisation, caramel. Juicy tends to medium plus acidity, but this is, oddly, quite flat on the palate, tannins are silky but it slides into anonymity in this line-up.

Old wood, hints of balsam, dark plum underneath, some spice and menthol. Cherry, nice parching astringency on the mid-back palate, good acidity and line. It's good, it just doesn't touch my soul
