dsg 12/2022 A very spicy nose, with pepper, cinnamon, and red fruit aromas. A full-bodied palate; this is a table champagne, I would pair it, for example, with chicken with morels. A compact, very spicy wine, with pronounced vinosity and a touch of toast. Good structure with lovely acidity. It's a distinguished wine, with a chalky finish and a hint of cinnamon that lingers nicely. A very good champagne, which deserves a little more time to fully open up.

Rich and oxidative nose, clearly pinot, clearly made in oak with its emphasis on toasty notes. Nice, creamy texture on the palate, good balance between fruit and acidity, solid length on the salty finish. Soft, reserved mousse. Very nice. 17/20

These just are a little dark and heavy… it’s work to drink through them. Heavy, firm, fruit, mineral a little out of balance.

Tried this blind and guessed Pinot Noir Champagne right off the bat. This has a wonderful expression of the grape, possessing high, but well-rounded acidity, moderate alcohol and rich flavors of berry fruit, tropical notes, bready hints. Fine mousse, almost non-existent as it plays a fine tune in the background and is not obtrusive. Long, chalky finish. Would definitely drink again if I was looking for a richer, but fine style of Champagne.
