A wild wine. The nose smacks you around with peaches, white flowers, elderflower liqueur. Smells like it will be syrupy sweet but the palate is bone dry with a lot of phenolic bitterness. Tasty, paired up well with chili crunch shrimp and veggie rice bowls.

Soapy on the palate. Meaning tastes soapy on the the palate. Super aromatic, fun.

Herbaceous, bright, fruity. It is exotic, dry, very receptive to flavourful white meat dishes.

in the glass straw yellow legs are thick but quick nose is lemon curd and citrus peel , white flowers, ripe melon(honeydew?) palate. texturally heavy, very mouth filling. feels like a heavy red without the tannins, some lanolin.. Acidity is high. juicy.. palate matches the nose though the lemon is more pronounced.. smooth long finish.. very long finish..

By the glass at Kipperd. Varietaly correct in that the secondary characters were allowed to live versus pushing ripe fruitiness. Some nice grip and mineral/stony notes. Bright fruited. Quite nice and unexpected.

Fleshy and lively and true to varietal. Nicely done as it were.

As other notes have suggested, it’s got an effusively floral nose, roses and white flowers with honey notes and a bit of cedar. Truly gorgeous. But that cedar note becomes a wallop of turpentine and yeast in the mouth. I thought it was interesting and maybe even fascinating, my wife didn’t finish the glass. I’d score this in the low- to mid-80s, but maybe it’s just not my style. On the other hand, maybe I’m curious enough to try it …

Brought to a tasting and it put a smile on EVERYONE'S face. First the beer bottle cap closure. Next the cloudy, murky slightly effervescent color, reminiscent of (excuse the French) urine. Heady, fruit and flower nose, followed by the high acid, mineral, desiccated fruit and a dry, dry finish. The most surprising and pleasant wine I've had in months.

Shared with co workers. everyone liked it. Old world palates commented on it. This is such a fun wine that everyone seems to love. Intense perfume on the nose but the palate is crisp and dry with great balancing acid and fruit. Its got contrast because the nose makes you think its a fruit bomb but palate goes in another direction. Exciting wine, Great QPR for $20+

Periwinkle Iron Somm Competition. Idiosyncratic to say the least. This sparkling Malvasia Bianca's nose is intensely and sweetly floral. The palate is surprisingly dry, with crisp acidity and savory minerality. This is a very fun and versatile wine. Drink now, not intended for aging.

Interesting bubbly, with a strong grapefruit and lemon palate that drinks like a cider or beer more than wine. Quite refreshing and tasty.

Huge concentrated perfumy nose. Its captivating to the nose and the tongue. The palate has this great interplay between the fruit, acid, dryness and the subtle carbonation adds to the complexity. This wine has so much going on it can please many desires. Every bottle is something special. Killer QPR. One of the most unique wines being made in the Santa Cruz Mountains area.
