Great structure still. Tannic slightly, maybe more than slightly still, but I felt like that helped it stand up to the foods.

Surprisingly still a hint of youth in the tannins. A hint of stewed fruit, likely my.fault for leaving in the sun for a few hrs? Plum and dark fruits, some cherry? Not getting the herbs others mention. Lovely wine.

I last enjoyed this wine back in April 2014 at a large tasting, thought is was “good”, high quality, but still young...there were many more “accessible” wines that night. I’ve enjoyed lots of highly regarded 2010 Napa Cabs since then, but unbeknownst to me,I found three of these which have been sitting “untouched” in my cellar since 2015; tonight was the night to revisit one of these to see if there had been some “reasonable” improvement.... A “WOW” wine tonight. …

Dark purple color, silky texture, black cherries, plums, violets, new leather and tar are woven together nicely. This, too, is sumptuous, powerful and intense. Hints of chocolate, mocha and espresso are layered into the finish.

Blackberry, high-toned raspberry, dried herbs and flowers, tobacco, cocoa. Moderately complex, nice mouthfeel. A little sharp to me even after a long decant, but otherwise tasty.

Tannins have softened and the wine is drinking well. Nose is good but starting to age. Dry and leathery. This was a split so would be interested in seeing a comparison to the 750. No reason to wait, drink up.

Lots of blackberry and some blueberry here as well. This wine was a full bodied wine and seemed to have more weight than the Altagracia but this one was just a tad boring. Now, it could have been because there were 50 glasses and 15 to 20 wine bottles on the table so there wasn't much room for a decanter. And this was definitely one of the last bottles that was opened. I think this one needs about five years …

Great bottle that probably would have scored even higher with proper decant as it kept improving with air. Big flavors and big tannins in a velvety package. Long finish with notes of chocolate and oak. Fruit was the star - persisted from entry right through the finish. Has many years to go.

One of my favorite cabs. Ripe dark fruit, silky texture, very well integrated. Can't wait to open another in a year or two and see how it developes. It's drinking very good right now.

.375 is aging nicely. Floral notes with tremendously long finish. Great wine even when considering price point. Would guess the .750 can sit 7 to 10 years. Hard to let these age properly.

Really a tremendous bottle of wine. Luscious mouthfeel, smooth as silk, with body and finesse. Sweet medley of red and dark fruits, layered on a subtle tanned leather finish. Tannins couldn't be better integrated. An inviting, plush limo of a wine for taking your tongue and palette for the ultimate pleasure cruise. Wow!

Nose was filled with a strong anise note. More anise and dark fruits with a Supple mouth feel. Sweet and almost cloying but comes back at the last moment. No hard edges and a distinct flavor profile. Enjoyed immensely for its uniqueness.

Seductive rich, deep purple - ruby color, dark fruit. Thick legs and meniscus. A structured and elegant wine with oak, tobacco and tannin. Visually enticing as it appears to be big, full-bodied and engaging . . . But on the pallet, lacking the richness and depth that I would expect for a red at this price point. Looks can be deceiving and for my taste, this wine was. It is a good wine for those who like European style wines …

Clearly a wine of distinguished pedigree, falling more on the 'elegant' side of the equation, rather than a 'blockbuster.' Seamlessly integrated smoked berries, sweet cherries, pencil shavings, restrained oak, tannins finer than silk. a lovely green element and the very faintest suggestion of funk. Lovely is the word that keeps coming to mind. The wine is already quite soft and I don't know if it has the goods for the long haul, and the price point is absurd, but it …

Really a good wine but for the price not worth it. The cru is a much lesser price point and while it is not as good it is still a great wine. This is just too high for what it is. Red cherry, raspberry, and just more red fruit that the Aida estate. It has some spice to it and some anise. If this was $100-150 then sure but its more than that so I'll pass.

I really liked this and I have some that will be traveling to meet me back home. More black fruit on this than the estate. Plum, fig, and blackberries. Rich and muscular with mocha on the end. Again a little caramel on the end and really a powerful wine. Really liked this even at the price.
