Bodegas Tridente Entresuelos

A pleasant wine for regular drinking albeit moving towards a little too much sweetness. But some depth to it and the potential to age interestingly in the bottle.

This wine struck me as a little peculiar. Perhaps it was the combination of flavors in its complexity. My wife tasted cigar box and pepper. I tasted eucalyptus or menthol and bright red fruit. Maybe it is a different wine to different people! Interesting though.

I could drink this every day. I've never had a bottle of <$10 wine I enjoyed more.

Vinous / Antonio Galloni - "Inky ruby. Smoky cherry and dark berry aromas are complicated by notes of roasted coffee and mocha. Broad and fleshy in the mouth, offering sweet black and blue fruit flavors that show a hint of warmth. Closes smooth and broad, with repeating smokiness, a hint of bitter chocolate and gentle tannins."
