Domaine des Marnes Blanches Poulsard Côtes du Jura

Red marl and limestone soil. 30 year old vines. Fermentation for 10 days in steel - carefully pressed. No sulphur. Almost rose-colored in the glass. So light. Nose: Quite aromatic with aromas of natural wine - a little reductive with VA. Light fruit - raspberry, rhubarb, herbs, cranberry. Palate: High acidity - tickling the tongue. Funky and quite lovely wine.

Clear and very pale, as Poulsard should be. Notably clean and bright red-berried nose without any reduction or volatility, just a faint hint of green. Light-bodied with transparent juicy fruit, balanced acidity and low alcohol (11,5%). Refreshing unsulphured wine, perfect for session drinking.
