Unashamed big California Chardonnay, but there are some good things here. The nose is more restrained than the palate. Lots of lemon, apricot, peach, butter, pineapple, some bitter leaf notes in the mid palate. The richness of the fruit is exuberant, but not hot at all. My one quip is the overwhelming oak on the finish. It's quite nice on the front and mid palate, but ends in a butter popcorn note that feels slightly engineered. Nonetheless, there is plenty …

Medium gold. Ripe apple, pear, spice, fresh bread. Somewhat lush tropical fruit, bit of lemon, butterscotch, oak, creamy mid palate leads to an unfortunate blast of heat on the finish. Bad bottle?

A very nice California Chardonnay.

A very nice drinkable wine. There are both citrus and tropical fruit on the nose and palate with some lemon coming through. This went very well with the grilled lemon pepper chicken. Nice balance of fruit and acidity.

Like biting into a plank of wood that had been spritzed with some lemon and butter. Popped and poured to pair with a roast chicken and some potatoes and corn. I think my reaction might be a style issue, and I imagine that the wine will be helped with the food, but as a standalone drink, it wasn't very inspired. I think I also may be a little sensitive to oak, but I did get a massive dose attacking my …

Blue print oaked/buttery green apple chard. Nice summer time table wine but you can do better at this price point in Ontario-- US price point looks about right. 5+12+15+7=89

Standard, decent California oaked Chardonnay. Oak and green apple fruit with medium-high acid. Buy again: Probably for a typical Chard.

I really liked this wine despite the fact that I often find La Crema wines over-oaked. Nice fruit with flavors of apricot and peach layered with vanilla and wood flavors,

Nice buttery/creamy chard!

Popped and poured. Served slightly chilled. Citrus fruit on the palate rounded off with creamy notes towards the end. Decent QPR. The transition from the very crisp/acidic notes to the creaminess is a little sharp but for the price it's a well done wine.

Vibrant, golden straw with a green tinge. Lemon custard, pineapple, toast, vanilla wafers, and butterscotch aromas. Rich and full-bodied with flavors to match the nose. Touch of banana on entry. Stonefruit middle palate leads to a flinty, minerally finish that is as refreshing as it is sleek. Excellent. Paired with thin spaghetti with olive oil, slivered garlic, fresh anchovies, topped with grated Parmigiano Reggiano Stravecchio, fresh-cut Italian parsley, and lemon.

This wine is awful, think - cold smoking a stick of butter and then liquefying it.

I really enjoyed the 09, but the 10 lacks the fruity tongue. Still very adequate. Expected as 2010 not a great year for California. Still 87.

Nice and creamy, but not too heavy. A solid and dependable wine, particularly for its price, and one that I like to keep in stock.

For a generic CA Chardonnay, this one was very good. Aromas and flavors of tropical fruit, vanilla, and butterscotch. May be a little "big" for some but it appealed to my desirable taste profile range. Nice finish and great QPR if you enjoy the style.

Aromas of oak and buttered popcorn dominate the nose. Ancillary aromas consist of pineapple, butterscotch, lemon curd and golden raisins. The palate is oak and butter upfront, pushing through to the mid palate and all the way through the finish. Acidity is strong, but helps cut through the the butter flavors. A bit unbalanced and one dimensional. (Don't get me wrong, I know what I'm drinking and like oaked Chardonnay, I just also like balance and complexity as well).

Light aromas of yellow apple and pear. The palate shows chunky melon fruit, pineapple and butter. There's a bit of brisk lemon tea in there as well. Overall, the alcohol and oak dominate too much.
