Deep golden color. Clear all the way through. Great nose showing peach, pineapple and honey. Medium bodied on the palate. The blend with Sylvaner adds some acidic austerity to the sweetness which makes this on one hand a wonderfully balanced dessert wine, but on the other, this would be delicious to pair with cheese or even some spicy dishes. Drinking well (and easy) right now, this Gewurz shows lots of the ripe pineapple side of Gewurztraminer, with soft acidity, but not in an unbalanced, 2003 kind of way. Balanced richness, not an unctuous style (none of that oily feel that Gewurz sometimes gets - not that it's a bad thing), and a pleasing if somewhat short finish.

Totally consistent with the prior bottle of this wine. Enjoy over the next year or so to catch the excellent fruit. There's not a lot of acid (less than usual), so I would not hold it.

Pineapples and lychees. Lots of them. Rich, sweet and long in the finish. Not a complex Gewurztraminer, nor one to age, but delicious to drink right now.

AP Nr. 5 016 095 18 02 A pinkish straw appearance. The nose is very slight, but on the palate it's richly perfumed. Really rather nice, though it doesn't do it for me. Very Good Indeed.
