This has held up well at 13- citrus, mineral, ginger, just a whisper of a lemonade sweetness. Nice finish, no hurry on these. B+

Pretty dry for halbtrocken; this is less about fruit and more about stones, minerality, and acid. Nice, but unexpectedly severe.

Pale straw yellow. Fields of hay and alfalfa, slight tinge of diesel, peach pits, wet concrete, and apricots. All that and it smells nice, too. Lighter bodied, mango, almost completely dry, chalky finish somewhat like sweet tarts. Interesting wine and very nice with dinner. Beginning to show secondary development.

Very nice. Had with Thai food that the acidity offered a nice balance to the food. Not overtly sweet and on the dry side.

Reticent nose of minerals, lemons, and hint of floral. Palate is much improved on the nose. The mouthfeel is of medium weight for a Riesling. Tastes of lemons, limes, stones, and grapefruits can be found. Best of all this wine exhibits excellent balance and a super long lemon and vanilla finish. Superb food wine.

Hmm, this is the first semi-dry German wine I have ever tasted, and I'm not sure how much I like it (or fully understand it). I was expecting something sweet until after I opened it and realized it said Halbtrocken. I'm assuming that is half Trocken or half dry? A fairly subdued nose. On this palate this is elegant with remarkable minerality and a clean, lemony element. A long, stony finish, as much mineral as I have ever tasted on …
