Very solid chianti. This is a classico but tastes as good as some reserves. Medium+ bodied. Leans dry but with fruit undertones. Tannins are tamed. Finish was pleasant and long.

Clear medium red. Lots of lovely floral red berry fruit and forest floor. Delicious spicy red fruit and a beautiful long dry balanced finish. With an hour decant this is tremendous.

Fairly dark.really great nose, intense sour cherry, pepper, blackberry, and green herbs. Dry vibrant herbal red fruit flavours and a very dry sour cherry finish. Young and intense, the first serious 21 I have had. Others have shown great potential but this delivers.

Decanted 1 Hour. Upon decanting, rich ruby color w/big cherry aroma. Initial pour: nice soft legs w/aroma of Bing cherries. Flavor of ripe plums, soft leather w/full round finish. Very enjoyable. Appetizer: Sun Dried tomato infused cheese Enress Chicken in garlic butter sauce w/roast vegetables. Wine worked well with the meal.

Deep red. Intense nose, black cherry, black berry, green herbs and a sort of bramble thing. Dry rich berry and cherry flavours with a berry textured dry finish. At the larger end of the scale. Very good.

Wow! This wine is really outstanding. Tasted this with 7 other Chianti Classicos (4 Riservas) and this wine showed incredible balance, beautiful red fruit (red cherry, cranberry), herbs (oregano), strong acidity. And for $20. If you can find this wine buy a case. You won’t be sorry.

Really like this very solid Chianti. Dry but balanced. Medium bodied, which is good for this grape. Nice tannins and complexity. Pleasant finish.

Tasty. Very dry, but pleasant. Not a long aftertaste, but ok. Just good flavor. A little light. Could probably let age a couple more years to deepen the flavor.

This is an unusual combination of just overripe red fruit and mouth drying tannins. The fruit is mainly raspberry with some cherry just a tad on the sweet side in a sufficient concentration. Hints of herbs combine with floral impressions, the latter developing over time after opening, thus enhancing the complexity. Good but somehow not impressive.

Still a little young, but solid right now. Dry flavor that really opens the mouth. Medium-bodied, not a light Chianti. Not a smooth finish yet, but will come with age or decanting.

We both enjoyed this wine. Very Chianti in character, deep ruby red in colour with aromas of mature fruit. Quite light in body with light oak flavour and subtle tannins. Pleasant tastes of rich fruits, and spice. Agree with earlier review that it could benefit from more time.
