Big disappointment here. Bought at winery tasting room to help fill out the free tasting minimum purchase, I guess that bottle must have been open for a while for us to like it. After bringing home and aging about a year, this was so heavily oaked we couldn't really enjoy any of it. Some sips were better than others, but overall this was drowning in sharp, bitter oak. Would suggest a heavy decant/aeration on this (like 6-12 hours), which of …

A fan of the pinots but I find this largely very difficult. Oak to the point of being harsh, overwhelming the fruit although the notes would leave you to believe otherwise (33%new followed by stainless). Little acidity. Just very mediocre, unlike the pinots that are typically very good. Not just this year frankly.
