Seems like its putting it more weight. More dark and intense. Good.

Medium red and dark fruit. Impressive depth and power; all in balance.

Pretty red fruit nose. Gulpable.

Drinking my last bottle a year after the first and the improvement is radical. Balance is achieved. Day 1 it is good. Day 4 it is even better. Wish I had a few left. 88-89.

Tasted at the Whitewater Valley Wine Society, Hampshire, UK. Burgundy tasting presented by Alun Griffiths, Master of Wine. As with the whites, Alun chose to set the scene by starting with a straightforward red, this entry level wine blended from grapes from several different vineyards. The wine had a bouquet of raspberries and red cherries with gentle tannins and high acidity. Most thought too pricy at �19.95 from Berry Bros & Rudd.

Delicious raspberries on the nose. In the mouth it is elegant cherries as well. Only 13% alcohole but strangely enough I feel it. Probably me. In glass two I get a nice sweetness and it feels much better. But still feel the alcohole. Strange. This is good but not good enough. Slightly unbalanced. I'll wait 2-3 years until I'll pop my last bottle.

Cherry fruit on the nose and on the palate, along with nice forest floor earthiness and a soft tannic finish. Not very complex but very nice and a good value.

Lots of power on nose and complex as well. Seems like a good buy at 20euro.

Burgundy 2015 Tasting (Knightsbridge - Northbrook IL) : Tasting, brief note. All red fruit here. Good length and weight for its level. Slightly rugged finish for right now, but this should center itself with another year or two in the cellar. 86-87 point potential.

The question before the house is: are the 2015 Bourgognes rouges delicious? Yeah, say I ; based on this modest offering. It has red berry fruit on the nose and the palate, followed by a cushioning hint of vanilla. The acid refreshes nicely.
