Best showing to date. Very dark colored. Black cherries, plums. One can smell a bit of maturity on this one. Balanced, fruity, with a bit of vanilla and coffee. Easy to confuse with a southern rhone syrah dominated wine (too concentrated to be a northern rhone). Great qpr

The Sampler (Angel, London) : Rich purple in colour this Syrah displayed elegant red cherry characters, dark chocolate, toasted almonds and a hint of blackberry on the nose. The palate was showed generous black fruit, spice and vanilla with a warm finish. Nice, but not exceptional.
