Wow.....really very, very good. I can't believe I only played $25 for this! Big masculine ballsy wine, powerful at 15.5% but carrying the alcohol and the fruit with aplomb and enough acid and tannic stuffing to carry it. Sour cherry and plum predominate, with pepper, chocolate and five spice in the background. Sweet grippy tannins on the back palate cushion the impact of the fruit. Has at least another 3-5 years, if not more.
