Bill & Crew - Offline #1 (Sydney, Australia) : Pear, mango, apricot, white florals and peach - quite ripe/tropical nose. Lovely balance on the palate though, blends the sweetness and cleansing acidity really well. Not a lot of complexity right now but plenty of joy. Would like to give this one some time to develop.

Special release bought at the domaine a year ago. Nose: Honey, ripe and pure fruit, some stoney aromas. Petrol as well. Pear and peach. Apricot. Palate: High acidity to balance the sweetness, loooong finish. Will develop nicely in the cellar.

A little richer and sweeter compared to the last bottles with less lift and energy. Still excellent.

Honey, ripe fruit, crushed stones on the nose. Good concentration and acidity on the palate - seamlessly interwoven with a lovely mineral spine. Very long and lingering. Delicious. Drink or keep. 92-94

Honeyed fruit, spicy, pure, generous. On the palate mineral, fresh and balanced. Very elegant and smooth. Long and fine finish. 92-94

Wine For Asia 2008 (Suntec City Singapore) : A bit of burnt matchstick. Lovely conundrum various specturms of sweetness with a touch of grassiness and finishing dry with a lining of fresh acidity.

WFA German First Growths Masterclass + others; 10/16/2008-10/18/2008 (Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore) : Pale yellow colour. Nose showed an accent of fresh cut grass, bread, a slight petroleum note and minerals along with some smoke and ash. The palate was beautifully balanced, with a great sense of minerally structure. Decent finish, very good Mosel typicity, with slatey mineral being the strong feature. My handwritten notes strangely had no mention of fruit. It was sweet enough, and expressive enough, but somehow …
