Sample tasting at work (Oinoscent) : Full typical expression, tomato, herbs, red cherry, strong but also elegant and welcoming. palate with light to med body, tihgt tannins, very spicy, clove, nutmeg, a bit gamey, high acidity, long finish Needs some time but drinking now too

RHM brought to CDC at Villagio, on the night of the 3 Xinos. It was the WOTN for all (or almost). 91+ pts. Blind I mistook it for a Nerello Mascalese. Great texture and balance. Get some.

Some tart cranberry ferral fruit character to it. And lots of power to it as well.

Fun wine with really good QPR. Rustic tannins and fruit offset with really elegant body and refreshing acidity.

Wines of Greece (K&L Wine Merchant - Redwood City) : Aromas of stewed, whole plums but after it has been cooled and chilled downed, and dried gentle earth. Flavors matches nose completely with the addition of dried tree bark and gentle pencil shavings (just the wood) on the finish.

sampling wines from Greece : lovely ruby colour in the glass and light- to medium-bodied. slightly sweet floral nose with plenty of red fruit, some spice whiffs, and mineral bottom notes. dry in the mouth, fruit flavours slowly emerge against a highly acidic and tannic backdrop. with time in the glass red berry notes accented by herbal touches gain in intensity and carry thru a very long finish. while still very much a baby, though accessible with a very good …
