This is flawless and delicious, one of the better examples I’ve had from a wonderful 2010 vintage. A marriage of ripe, full body and vibrant, acidic fresh red fruit. It’s amazingly primary for 10 years of age. Nowhere near a decline, but I wouldn’t want to age this further, so good.

Beautiful wine. Paler color than the trisae, and super aromatic, lots of coffee, game, truffle, shot through with a hint of blood orange. Would age well.

Brought to restaurant. Needs to be decanted. Initially almost hint of effervescence, but the to the style I love. Great pour.

Willamette Valley Wines presents: Pinot in the City (City Winery, Chicago, IL) : Nose: There is. Real elegance to the nose with pretty tones of red fruits, spice tones, raspberries, and floral tones. Taste: Medium bodied with medium+ acidity and some sneaky tannins. The structure catches you by surprise along with pretty tones of red fruits, spices, and floral tones. Overall: This is an elegant Pinot. There is a real nice style to it with good elegance and finesse.

Pinot in the City (City Winery, Chicago, IL) : Holy crap. The whole line up here was outstanding. For this price, this is a must buy. Exotic earthy, truffles, wet dog, stinky flowers. Lots of berries. Palate is full of richness and finesse. Such a great wine. Can't wait to dig deeper into Trisaetum's portfolio.

At the winery tasting room. Card says "single vineyard" In the glass: Light magenta, long legs. On the nose: Whiff of sulfur, tart cherries, herbal. In the mouth: Typical pinot of light cherries & spice, toasty oak. Pretty balanced, but needs a little more finish down the throat, but still nice. Overpriced at Retail $55

2010 Oregon Pinot Noirs (Beltramo's, Menlo Park, CA) : Pine sap, pine needle, floral nose. Balanced in the mouth, light to medium bodied, red plum, floral notes, fine grained tannins. Really nice, as standout in this lineup.
