Seems every bit of 15 plus years old. Mature. Creamy and complex, but acidity and effervescence are starting to subside. Drink now.

Still drinking well. Not over the hill, as some suggest, IMHO.

This tasted like a 14 year old champagne with a price of $38. The mousse feel off in like 15 minutes and left the group wanting more in the way of bubbles. In the first 15 minutes, the group loved the dryness of the body, picked up honey suckle and lemon zest with a touch of waxiness in the mouth. Was hoping for more a QPR with this buy from Garagiste

This is drinking very well. While by no means acting old or tired, it did show a bit more mature than I'd have expected. No overwhelming oxidative notes, but I think this is probably in its zone and may not reward further cellaring.

Showing maturity (I was surprised). Tasty but maybe consider drinking.

First of three bottles. Such a delicious sparkler for <$40. Should continue to mature, with no drop off, for some time.

Terrific value, and delicious, multi-layered, complex wine. Brioche, lemon, citrus, caramel, marzipan on the nose, with smoke and mineral accents. Palate is deep and complex, echoing the nose but adding in a juicy saline quality to go with all that other stuff going on. Long and mouth watering finish. So this is what vintage Champagne is all about!

Deep golden color. Nose is very autolytic on open, burnt toast and blackened marshmallow. Opens further to show lemon pith and more restrained brioche. Medium+ acidity, fine mousse. Bright yellow and orange citrus up front, overwhelmed quickly by savory smoke and toasty notes. Layered, interesting, and mature, this is a crazy value less than $50.
